The Inca Trilogy comprises 3 interconnected world: the upper world (sky), symbolized by the condor; the middle world (earth), symbolized by the puma; and the lower world (underground), symbolized by the serpent. In the Andean cosmovision, those three worlds are in a perfect union, with a deep connection between the spiritual and physical worlds.
